Duvar Kağıdı yaptığınız dosya arkada oynarken eğer oynatıcınızı tam ekran dışında bir boyuta ayarlarsanız, oynatıcıda sadece o kısma denk düşen bölümü görüyorsunuz. Yani masaüstünüzü tam ekran kabul edin, oynatıcı bir pencere boyutunda ise o kısmı içine alan kısmı görüyorsunuz. Ama tam ekrana döndüğünüzde ya da tamamen aşağıya indirdiğinizde bir problem olmuyor. İkinci güzel özellik ise “Enstantane” seçeneği ile o anda ekrandaki görüntünün resmi çekiyor olmanız. Windows’un print screen özelliği ile yaptığınızda ve dosyayı kapattığınızda siyah görünen ekran kötü çekimleri bırakın ve bu enstantane yakalama özelliği ile istediğiniz resmi çekin!

Bu programı benden önce açıklayan Bosluk’a liste konusunda bende katılıyorum. Winamp programının popülaritesi en çok borçlu olduğu konu olan çok kolay kullanım ne yazık ki VLC Media Player’ın oynatma listesi için geçerli değil. Görünüm menüsündeki Oynatma Listesi seçeneği ile ulaşılabilen liste bazen uğraştırıyor. Winamp ile karşılaştırmışken bir artısını belirtelim. Winamp’te tam ekran izlediğiniz bir video’dan diğer video’ya geçiş tam ekran olamazken, VLC Media Player’da bir dosya’dan diğerine geçişte tam ekran kesinlikle bozulmuyor, siz de ikide bir tam ekran yapacağım diye uğraşmıyorsunuz.

Son versiyonuna eklenen güzel özelliklerden birisi dosya yürütürken altyazıyı sadece sürükle-bırak tekniği ile görüntüleyebilirsiniz. Ayrıca bu özellik duvar kağıdı özelliği ile de uyumlu olarak çalışıyor. Bu noktadaki küçük bir hata, altyazılı bir dosyayı yürütürken eğer ileri ya da geri bir noktaya aldığınız andaki altyazı ile ilk yerdeki altyazı üst üste binebiliyor.
